Of interest, for the month of November 2008, Nielsen ratings is reporting that Proflowers had the highest conversion rate among ALL retail websites. The report says:
“almost one-third (30.6%) of all visitors to ProFlowers.com made a purchase” (See article)
It’s not just the floral industry they are leading. It’s the entire online retail industry as a whole! There's not even a close second; and 1800flowers had a 17.8% conversion rate.
Why do you think that is? What do they have that others don’t? Your thoughts....
